Sandwich with fried tofu

For 3 servings: 1 loaf from 200 gr. about pressed tofu, cut horizontally into three slices-3 tbsp oil-1/4 cup of whole wheat flour-1/3 cup ketchup-1/2 tsp mustard-3 slices of whole wheat bread, spread with margarine and mayonnaise vegetable-3 small lettuce leaves halved or a cup alfalfa sprouts (alfalfa)-6 tomato slices-6 slices of pickles
Put the slices of tofu wrapped in a cloth to dry for about 5 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan, then heat the slices of tofu passed quickly into the flour, letting them cook for about 2 or 3 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
Mix the ketchup with mustard in a mixing bowl, then spread on bread.
On each slice of bread with lettuce (or sprouts), then the tomatoes and pickles, and the fried tofu.
Served by cutting possibly the sandwich in half.
VARIATIONS
-tofu sandwich:
omit the flour, and prepare the tofu in a little sesame oil. Spread the slices of toast with margarine or mayonnaise, then arrange the lettuce, tomatoes (or sprouts) and tofu. Stack a second slice of bread.
-other ideas:
Sprinkle the slices of pressed tofu with a bit of shoyu (or spread with a thin layer of miso). Serve on toast, sprinkled with pickle, lettuce, tomato, sprouts, etc. Sprinkle with pepper and add if you like some other drops of shoyu.
