1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 tsp ground coriander
extra virgin olive oil

Tonight I was in a hurry and at the same time I wanted something special, so I made up on the spot a comfort food hot and spicy.
Generally I like to cook with calm, it is my form of meditation, in the peace of my kitchen, between the scents of herbs and spices ...
This time I opened the pantry, I chose two cans and I devised a hot dish to satisfy the craving for spicy foods that we have these days.
Very simple and quick to prepare but absolutely delicious to taste, so much that I decided to share it with those who follow us!
(This time I was so in a hurry - and we were so hungry! -that I haven't even made a picture: if someone wants to try it we will be happy to share the photos you want to send us.)
Brown the chopped onion in oil.
Add the spices and let emit their scent.
Add the tomatoes and mash well with a fork, making sure that they exfoliate.
Drain the chickpeas and pour into the pot along with the other ingredients.
Add a big cup of water, preferably hot.
Last add salt and bring briefly to a boil.
Serve hot.
