For 10-12 people
2 cups couscous
4 cups chocolate soy milk
3 ripe pears (type William or Conference)
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons sunflower oil for greasing the pan
drops and/or flakes of chocolate to decorate
Cut the pears into small cubes.
Bring to a boil the soy milk chocolate where you will melt the unsweetened cocoa powder.
As soon as it starts to boil, turn off the heat and add the couscous and pears into cubes, stirring carefully.
Cover and leave to swell for about 15-20 minutes.
When the couscous has swelled well, sgranatelo with a fork, grease a baking dish with a little oil and travasatevi the couscous with pears, flattening it with the back of a spoon.
Let cool completely before serving, cover the surface with a layer of chocolate flakes.
You can get a bar of chocolate sprinkles grossly grating, whole or in part depending on how much you want full coverage.
For a fancier presentation, you can serve this cake into individual shot glasses (like we did for our photos), where you will have the foresight to transfer the couscous before it has cooled completely, otherwise it tends to firm up too making it hard so.
