Pasta gratin

For 2-4 people
300 g of macaroni (or other short pasta of your choice)
tomato puree
1 red onion
basil
vegan bechamel
salt
pepper
extra virgin olive oil
Prepare the tomato sauce by sautéing the chopped onion in a little olive oil, add the tomato puree and basil washed it and simmer for at least 40 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook the pasta, drain, toss with the tomato sauce, place in a baking dish and sprinkle vegan bechamel sauce, stirring well and finishing in a layer over the surface of all the dough.
Bake at 180° C degrees for 20 minutes, until the sauce begins to Brown.
The amount is enough for 2 people as a main dish or 4 people followed by a second course.
