250 g organic wholemeal flour
250 g organic flour
1 or 2 apples
20 dried figs
100 g almonds
50 g sunflower seeds
the peel of a lemon
1 pinch of cinnamon
a few tablespoons of cooking marsala
rice malt syrup
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
25 g of yeast
1 pinch of salt
Mix the two flours and combine the yeast previously dissolved in a little warm water and sugar.
Add enough water, a pinch of salt, mix and let stand covered and away from drafts.
Meanwhile, in a blender chopping dried figs, almonds, lemon zest.
Peel the apples and cut them into chunks.
Combine the mixture to flour and chopped apples, add sunflower seeds and marsala.
Sweeten to taste with a little sugar and a tablespoon of rice malt syrup.
Combine the cinnamon and hopefully, a little lemon juice.
Pour the mixture into a baking dish greased with a little soy butter (or oil), let rise for an hour and bake in preheated oven at 250° C for about half an hour.
Check the bread with the toothpick.
This is a sweet pretty caloric. It is therefore advisable not to overindulge in sugar, as it already contains foods taste sweet.
You can bake bread or giving it the shape of a bagel a little flattened.
