Dried fruit jam

10 dried figs-10-15 dried apricots-150 gr raisins-zest of 1 orange (or 1 lemon)-1 tsp cinnamon (or vanilla powder)-1 pinch of salt-chopped hazelnuts or almonds (facolatativa)
Soak the dried fruit for about 12 hours, flush water and covering it by working directly on the pot in which you cook.
Just before you turn on the heat, add the cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
Cook over low heat with the lid for about 25-30 minutes. Stir occasionally and add a little water, as it dries. However towards the end of cooking, do not add water because the mixture must be quite thick.
Turn off the heat, add the orange zest, mix and blend with an immersion blender.
If you like, after all this smoothie, you can also add some chopped hazelnuts or almonds.
You can vary your pleasure nuts to be used; the possible alternatives are: dates, plums, bananas, pineapples, etc.
