Indian style rice

Ingredients

For 4 people
200 g of Thai rice (long grain)
1 onion
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons of curry
2 teaspoons turmeric
1 tsp ground coriander
3 or 4 cloves
1 piece of fresh ginger grated will
black pepper
1 handful of unsalted peanuts, chopped coarse
1 pinch of cumin seeds
crushed red pepper
1 handful of raisins

Note: the dose of spices can be increased according to taste

Instructions

In a large pot add the olive oil, the finely chopped onion and the rest of the ingredients.
Heat the whole low heat: the ingredients must blend together but do not burn.
Then boil the rice, drain it and add it to the other ingredients, then mix well.
The rice must take a beautiful yellow: enjoy your meal!
