For 4 people
2 boxes of beans
1 glass of tomato puree
2 cloves garlic
1/2 white onion
chili
pepper
salt
laurel
sage
Chop the garlic and onion and put them in a pan with half a glass of olive oil and a sprinkle of chili powder.
Sauté it all over a very low heat without letting it burn the garlic and onion.
Put into the blender half the beans, along with a glass of tomato juice, a pinch of freshly ground pepper and a glass of water ...
Blend everything together and when the onion is browned, toss this sauce in the Pan, along with the other half of the beans and a couple of glasses of water, a Sage leaf and a bay leaf.
Season with salt and pepper.
Let it simmer on a medium heat until the water has evaporated.
Stir occasionally.
Serve in bowls, accompanied by bread, possibly pugliese.
