Vegan stracciatella ice cream

Ingredients

For 2 people

2 fair trade organic bananas

20 g vegan dark chocolate, grated

2-4 tablespoons coconut or agave syrup (not essential)
 

 

Variant with berries

Instead of the chocolate, add a couple of tablespoons of blueberries or other berries at your choice.
 

Optional

a few tablespoons of vegetable yogurt

Instructions

This vegan ice cream is prepared without ice cream maker, it is really delicious and easy to make!

 

Slice the bananas and put them in the freezer for a few hours.

Grate the chocolate and set aside.

After at least 4 hours blend the bananas with the mixer adding the sweetener (it is not essential but it will serve to give a stronger and traditional flavour to your ice cream).

Blend until a smooth and creamy texture like the one of the best artisans' ice creams.

If you wish to further increase the creaminess of this ice cream, add a few tablespoons of vegetable yougurt and mix again.

Add the grated chocolate and mix it into the mixture of bananas with a spoon, don't blend it.

Enjoy this treat!

 

Variant with berries
For a healthier variation, instead of chocolate add two tablespoons of berries: for the second picture we added to the bananas also 70 g of frozen organic blueberries, but of course you can also use other berries or fruit according to taste.
