Ingredients for the red pear:
1 abate or kaiser pear, red wine and water in equal amounts (approx. 500 ml), 50 g rice malt syrup + 1 tablespoon sugar, 1/2 cinnamon stick, 1 clove, 1 pinch of salt

Preparation of the red pear:
Thoroughly wash pears, peeled leaving attacked the stem and remove the seeds with an apple corer.
Place the pear in a pot, with the mixture of water and wine, adding water to cover it, along with the malt and sugar, cinnamon, cloves and salt. Bring to a boil and cook, covered, for 15-20 minutes over high heat; then cover, reduce the heat and continue for another 15 minutes: must become tender but without spappolarsi.
When the pear is cooked, set aside, reduce wine (after removing the spices) until you get a thick syrup, let cool and pour over the pears.
Preparation of the white pear:

You can prepare them in advance, because they should be served at room temperature or warm.
